Come and Experience Our Unforgettable Bazaar!
Take the time to pause and witness God with eyes and ears. Find the blessings he brings each of us every day. Then say a prayer of thanks, for God is good all the time!

Over 50 Years of Fun!
We rejoice in the gifts we have been given to continue the annual Fall Bazaar.
The planning committee starts working on the Fall Bazaar details in July. Every year we have someone new asking to join in with the planning. What an honor to work with so many happy volunteers! Our bazaar coincides with the Alexandria Fall Craft Tour, which usually lands on the first or second Saturday in November.
The church is buzzing with volunteers during the week of the Bazaar. The men, women and youth of the congregation work hard to prepare for the big event. On the day of the Bazaar, they all show up again to work a shift and help with sales and serving.

Traditions of Joy
On Wednesday we peel and rice 150 pounds of potatoes for the Lefse. On Thursday we mix, roll, bake and package the Lefse. The camaraderie is so heartwarming. On the Friday before the Fall Bazaar the men, woman and youth bring in crafts, embroidered dishtowels and baked goods they have made. We serve rolls, coffee and lunch on the day of the bazaar.
Many people of the Lakes Area have supported our Fall Bazaar for generations. We look forward to seeing the friends and community members that return year after year!
Proceeds
As a general guideline the Fall Bazaar Committee divides the bazaar proceeds in the following three ways: within our church, our community and our world.
1: One third supports the heart of Bethesda with things such as technology updates or building maintenance.
2. One third is shared with our community to meet local needs such as the Food Shelves, Love INC, our Senior Center or the Car Care program.
3. The last third is donated to world needs such as God’s Global Barnyard, to provide chickens for both eggs & meat, goats for both milk & meat, a whole family farm, or a community well.
